Warranty Statement
Power can be fairer if we all work together. We're here to make that happen.
The warranty provisions for products supplied and installed by Intrepid Power are in full alignment with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and encompass a standard warranty duration of 10 years from the date of delivery. We occasionally offer extended warranty options as well. Our warranty comprehensively covers the entire photovoltaic (PV) system, including both workmanship and products, upholding your rights without exception.
It's essential to be aware that our express warranty is conditional. It becomes void if the fault or defect is not reported within the warranty period, arises from actions by entities other than Intrepid Power or our authorised contractors, or results from a failure to maintain the goods as outlined in our maintenance documentation. Additionally, Intrepid Power must authorise any repairs, modifications, relocations, or reinstallations in writing.
Should the consumer warranties under the Australian Consumer Law apply to your purchase, clauses 3 to 6 of this statement are also applicable. These include the Australian Consumer Law's guarantees for goods and services, which are non-excludable. In the case of substantial service failures, you possess the right to terminate your service contract with us and may be eligible for a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value. For significant product failures, you have the choice of a refund or replacement. We are obligated to rectify the issue within a reasonable timeframe for minor failures.
In instances of major product failures, you can request either a replacement or a refund. If the failure is minor and repairable within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to either repair, replace, or refund the goods.
Be advised that ACL warranties commence from the date of delivery and can be invoked when a failure becomes evident. This warranty statement does not accommodate refunds or replacements for changes of mind. To initiate a warranty claim for a defective product, please contact us promptly at Support@Intrepidpower.io. Our experienced technical team is often able to resolve issues swiftly. If the problem persists, we will arrange for further evaluation.
